秋田にきて遊ぶところがわからない。秋田大学に興味がある。大学の雰囲気を感じたい。スポーツ鬼ごっこってなんだ？など、普段足を踏み入れられない秋田大学に遊びに来るチャンスです。秋田県内の留学生、教職員、社会人もどなたでも大歓迎です。交流しながら皆さんの秋田の思い出の1ページにしましょう！

Let’s Enjoy Sports Onigocco！
People from all countries and backgrounds are welcome
• What is Sports Onigocco?! It is a newly developed version of the classic game of tag, adapted for the modern era. The core concept is a game of tag that seamlessly blends traditional play with competitive game elements. Since it is played in teams, strategy is key to winning. Regardless of your age or whether you are good at sports, anyone who can move around can easily join in the fun, making physical activity enjoyable for everyone.
• Date & Time: Saturday, July 18, 2026, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Canceled in case of rain or extremely high temperatures. The final decision will be made by 9:00 AM on the day.)
• Location: Plaza in front of the Faculty of International Resource Sciences, Akita University
• Eligibility: Anyone of any age. Members of the local community are very welcome to join! (Walk-ins are welcome on the day, but please sign up in advance if possible. This helps us arrange recreation insurance, notify you of event status, and prepare sunshade measures.)
• Participation Fee: 50 yen per person (To cover recreation insurance. Please pay on the day.)
• What to Bring: Drinks, a towel, a hat, a change of clothes, comfortable athletic shoes, sun protection, cash, and a small bag for valuables.
To sign up, please scan the QR code on the right or call Mr. Ito at the Akita University Personnel Division. (Sign-ups via QR code are accepted until 9:30 AM on the day of the event.)
As it is expected to be hot, we will provide sunshade tents. However, we ask that you all take extensive measures to prevent heatstroke. (Vending machines are available near the plaza.)
